Terms of Service

By accessing or using Scoopr (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

Scoopr is an AI-powered API testing tool that helps developers discover, test, and monitor API endpoints. You provide a target URL or specification and Scoopr’s systems — including third-party AI models — analyze the target and generate test cases on your behalf.

Scoopr uses automated analysis and artificial intelligence to discover and test API endpoints. We do not guarantee that all endpoints, parameters, edge cases, or vulnerabilities will be identified.

Specifically:

• Scoopr may miss broken, insecure, or misconfigured endpoints that exist in your API.
• A passing result from Scoopr does not constitute a security audit, penetration test, or certification of correctness.
• You remain solely responsible for the quality, security, and reliability of your APIs and any systems that depend on them.
• Scoopr shall not be liable for any damages, data breaches, outages, or other harms that result from endpoints or bugs that were not detected by the Service.

You should use Scoopr as one layer of your testing strategy, not as a replacement for thorough manual review, dedicated security audits, or human expertise.

Scoopr integrates AI models to perform endpoint discovery, test generation, and result analysis. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• AI outputs are non-deterministic. Results may vary between runs even with identical inputs. AI-generated test cases, descriptions, and analysis should be reviewed by a qualified engineer before acting on them.
• AI can make mistakes. AI models may produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading outputs. Scoopr does not warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated content.
• Your data may be processed by third-party AI providers. To deliver the Service, your inputs (such as URLs, API specifications, and request/response data) may be sent to third-party AI providers including but not limited to Anthropic. You consent to this processing by using the Service. Please review each provider’s privacy and data-use policies.
• Do not submit sensitive credentials. You should not input API keys, passwords, personal data, or other sensitive information unless you understand and accept the risks of transmitting that data through the Service and its underlying AI providers.

You may only use Scoopr to test APIs and systems that you own or have explicit written permission to test. Unauthorized scanning or testing of third-party systems may violate computer fraud laws and other regulations. Scoopr accepts no liability for unlawful use of the Service. You agree to indemnify and hold Scoopr harmless from any claims arising from your unauthorized use.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Scoopr and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or reputational harm — arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if Scoopr has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Scoopr in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
